There's no single price. Here's what moves it up or down, and how to compare quotes.

DJ prices vary a lot, so be wary of anyone who gives you one number for everyone. What you pay depends on how long they play, whether they bring their own sound system and lights, how far they have to travel, and how busy the date is. December weekends cost more than a Tuesday in March.
The easiest way to get a real feel for prices is to search for DJs in your area on FunConnect and look at the packages they list. Shortlist two or three, send each one the same details (date, hours, guest count, venue), and compare like with like. Cheapest isn't always best. Read their reviews from past bookings first.
