Can I pay a vendor directly instead of through FunConnect?

No, keep payment on FunConnect. Paying outside the app breaks the Terms and isn't protected by escrow, so if the vendor doesn't show up you can't get your money back through FunConnect. Until a booking is funded, phone numbers, emails, social handles and bank details in chats are hidden.

Step by step

1. If someone asks you to pay outside FunConnect, don't pay.
2. In the chat, tap the ⋮ menu → "Report" and choose "Scam or asked to pay outside FunConnect".
3. Book them on FunConnect instead so your money is held in escrow.
