A short checklist so there are no surprises on the night.

Most problems on the night come from things nobody wrote down. Before you pay, agree on: the start and finish time, and what happens if the party runs late. Who provides speakers, mixer, mic and lights. How much space and how many power points they need. Any songs you must hear, and any you never want to hear.
Also agree on arrival time (give them at least an hour to set up), who their contact person is at the venue, and whether they'll MC or you have someone else. Put all of this in the booking notes on FunConnect so it ends up in the contract. If something changes, update it there too.
