How do I scan tickets at the gate and give my door staff access?

In Box office, tap "Scanner" on your party and send your door staff the gate link and the 6-digit PIN ("Copy link and PIN"). They open the link on any phone, enter the PIN and scan tickets with the camera. They don't need a FunConnect account. Each ticket can only be checked in once.

Step by step

1. Box office → your party → "Scanner".
2. Tap "Copy link and PIN" and send it to your door staff.
3. On the day, they open the link, enter the gate PIN and tap "Open scanner".
4. They scan each QR code. "Let them in" means it's valid (a group ticket shows how many it admits). "Already used" means it was scanned before. "Not valid" means it isn't a ticket for this party.
5. For a guest without their QR, tap "Search a guest by name", search by name, email or code, and tap "Let in".

Good to know

• After 10 wrong PIN attempts the scanner locks for 15 minutes.
• Gate links close 24 hours after the party starts.
• For a regular door team, create a Party promoter team under Teams. Members with the Door staff role see your parties at funconnect.app/staff and scan without a PIN.
